Job – Bank Mammographer
Location – The Wellington Hospital, London
Contract Type – Bank shifts based on your availability to cover absence and annual leave.
Bank Shifts Available – We are looking for Bank Mammographers who can cover weekday shifts only.
Other Info – Candidates must already be in the UK to apply to join the Bank.We are an outpatient facility at the Platinum Medical Centre (PMC) and clinics are generally between 9am-5pm.
Pay: TheBank hourly rate is from £26.41ph (Shifts from Monday -Friday)
***Rates inclusive of WTR include indicative additional amount separately payable on claiming accrued annual leave. WTR is calculated on the average hourly pay rate over the preceding 52 weeks and may therefore differ from the amount included in the above WTR rates***

We are looking for Mammographers to join the Bank to cover shifts at our Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
Job Description
The successful post holder will undertake and perform all mammography procedures, ideally also including assisting with biopsies and other interventional procedures under the guidance of the Breast Radiologist.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
- Undertake all administrative duties involved with the X-Ray / Mammography service under the guidance of the Site Superintendent and Mammography Superintendent.
- Perform all X-ray examinations as required and within the scope of the IRMER regulations.
- Utilise and understand the PACS system.
- Undertake associated administrative tasks.
- Undertake mammograms to support screening and symptomatic breast clinics.
- Experience with assisting with core and vacuum assisted biopsies desirable, but not essential
Skills & Experience
- HCPC registered
- Post-graduate qualification in Mammography
- Relevant post Graduate experience with a post DCR in Mammography
