Job Overview:
As a Care Assistant at Cathkin House, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to remain active, independent, and engaged in their daily activities. This rewarding role involves assisting residents with personal care, mealtimes, and identifying their unique goals to create personalised care plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Residents with Personal Care: Assist residents with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Encourage Independence: Help residents maintain their independence while encouraging them to stay as active as possible.
- Personalised Care Plans: Work with residents and their families to identify individual goals and implement tailored care plans.
- Physical Activities and Interests: Support residents in engaging with physical activities and hobbies that promote both mental and physical well-being.
- Mealtime Assistance: Assist residents during mealtimes and support with feeding when necessary.
