Key Responsibilities:
As a Night Care Assistant, your role will involve a variety of rewarding tasks, all aimed at improving the quality of life for the residents under your care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating, drinking, and mobility support.
- Providing specialist dementia care, offering companionship, and helping residents engage in their favorite activities, such as bingo, shopping, and live music.
- Supporting residents in making their apartments feel like home.
- Developing strong, respectful relationships with residents and their families, always maintaining their dignity, independence, and choices.
- Contributing to the creation and review of individual Care Plans, ensuring that residents’ care needs are met appropriately.
What We’re Looking for:
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are ready to bring their unique personality and care skills to the team. While prior experience is not required, the following qualities are essential:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic IT skills to assist with documentation.
- The ability to be proactive, organized, and compassionate in a challenging environment.
- An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a significant advantage but not essential.
