Your Role as a Night Care Assistant
As a Night Care Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team providing excellent care to our residents. Your duties will include:
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating, drinking, and mobility support.
- Helping residents engage in activities that bring them joy, such as bingo, shopping, and live music.
- Supporting residents in making their apartments feel like home, creating a warm, comfortable, and nurturing environment.
- Building strong relationships with both residents and their families.
- Contributing to the development of individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident’s needs are met with the utmost respect for their dignity and independence.
No two days will be the same, and you will gain valuable experience in both general care and specialized dementia care.

What We’re Looking For
To excel in the role of Night Care Assistant, you don’t need prior experience, though an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is advantageous. What’s most important is your:
- Passion for providing outstanding care.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Positive, proactive, and resilient approach to care.
- Basic IT skills.
