Key Responsibilities:

As the Caretaker at The Salvation Army in Atherton, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities, ensuring the building remains in excellent condition for all users.

  • Building Maintenance & Cleaning:

    Unlock and lock the building as required and take on the responsibility of a key holder when necessary.
  • Setting Up & Moving Equipment:
    Assist with moving chairs, tables, and other equipment as needed to support cleaning and event requirements.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    Maintain records to ensure the church building complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintenance & Liaison with Contractors:
    Carry out small maintenance tasks and communicate with contractors for any larger repairs or maintenance needs.
